Being located so close to Amsterdam Centraal Station Grasshopper is often a first and last stop for day trippers, one nighters and those hungry for their first taste of coffeeshop atmosphere. This means that in the ‘high’ season it can be full of tourists, many of whom have generally overindulged in all Amsterdam has to offer. An average menu is presented in the basement of the building. Outside the covered terrace overlooking the pleasure boat moorings at least offers an interesting distraction.
